Sushi Kiosk at Ciputra

This is a “Grab and Go”-concept Sushi stall which you can choose the food you want, and bring it to the cashier to pay and process. Sushi Kiosk belongs to Sushi Tei Group, so there are some common menu between these two restaurants or you may say that Sushi Kiosk is the lite version of Sushi Tei. Recently, I visited the Mall Ciputra outlet which i merged with the Pepper Lunch Express seatings.

“How is the place?”
The place itself is quite big with a lot of seatings to choose from, only indoor seatings that are available. You can see a huge refrigerator filled with packed sushi, hot sushi stall, and drink racks. I really like the concept of cozy sushi stall which allows the customer to eat sushi while working or use the wifi.

“When did you go there?”
I was going solo for my lunch at 2nd March 2015 at Sushi Kiosk, Mall Ciputra, West jakarta.

“How was the service?”
There are some reason why I called Sushi Tei/Kiosk has the best service, it is because they are very polite and responsive, mastering the menu and food, which I like the most if they always check whether your glass is empty or not to refill your ocha (if you order the refillable ochas).

“What did you order?”
I was having my lunch with Salmon-based set, they are :

·      Salmon Onigiri [24k]

This is basically a traditional Triangle-shaped onigiri, which is wrapped by nori (Crisp Seaweed) and filled with Salmon Maki. It was delicious and bigger than the other onigiri. The main part is about the perfection of the nori crispiness, rice warmnes and the salmon taste. Enjoy it while hot!

·      Salmon Sashimi [45k]

It’s the legendary sashimi, both have the same taste and deliciousness of Sushi Tei. Served above an ice pack to keep it fresh and healthy. I really like eating it with wasabi and a little bit of Shoyu.

·      Salmon Maki [19k]

A simple dish, a sushi wrapped with nori, filled with salmon sashimi-rolled. It was delicious, a it simple to increase your appetite.

·      Salmon Salad Gunkan [15k]

A gunkan, which is a sushi wrapped with nori and salmon salad on top. A portion consist of 2 gunkans which are very delicious. The salad itself was fresh, kind of sour-tasted, it was using cucumber so it can be considered as healthy food.

·      Salmon Temaki [17k]

This Temaki is a cone shaped dish, which is filled with cucumber and salmon sashimi. It was big enough to eat. To eat it, was a little bit tricky for the first bite because it was big and didn’t count as a single eat food.

“So, The Conclusion is?”
I really enjoy my lunch at Sushi Kiosk, it has no difference in service from Sushi Tei, the only differences is the ambiance and atmosphere. From the food? Nothing different in a good way. I am a fan of Sushi Tei and Sushi Kiosk. Looking forward to try another menu while working and enjoy!
